I feel like I strongly agree but I also strongly agree with the phantom gettin the last bow. If the musical was more like the book the phantom would 100% be the last bow because of the emotional depth of his character, but that emotion was switched to Christine in the musical even though her character was way more “shallow” in the book.

yes she’s the main character, but think of this, without the phantom she would have still been a ballet girl, the phantom gave us the story, therefore he gets the final bow, he was the catalyst for it all so without him there would be no musical

It’s def a good take. The issue is 1. The phantom needs some time to get that makeup and hair back on. And 2. The phantom plays the biggest role and the satisfaction of the viewer usually rest on how well he performs
