Wylder axel is my boy and we picked axel because Wylder is spelt with a ‘y’ and x and y are right by each other in the alphabet so i thought it would look good together and I was right thankfully 😌

As a teacher, I say go middle name. To be perfectly honest the first name would scare me if that came up on a class list, I would anticipate behavior challenges and parents who wanted to be edgy not Nordic culture.

If it’s spelled Axel I’d assume the parents are edgy … if it’s spelled Aksel I’d assume the parents are Nordic

There was a guy I grew up with who called himself axel. Wasn’t his actual name but he wore a tail and told everyone he was a werewolf up until high school graduation. That’s all I think about that name unfortunately

As a teacher in a party of the country with very little Nordic ancestry, I’d assume edgey in a “I never tell my kid no” kind of way and would worry about what they were going to be like to deal with.

Hmmm I’m a big one for cohesive sibling set 😅 it’s my private pet peeve when a name stands out. maybe a classic name and Axel as a nickname? Alexander can be called Axel and it’s very classic. But really when it comes to naming after family members especially one so dear I think the name will kinda just, fit, if that makes sense?
