Preach!! My issues and such, are my own. The Universe is not a cosmic butler. I love my ex, he taught me that my worth is more than just my body or what I bring to the table. I made my choice and I am extremely grateful that I was able to get away. While I had zero control over my abusers, full stop. I still put them in the position to harm me. While it wasn't an intentional choice for abuse, it was a choice. I own that and it absolutely has been in owning my part of it, that I learned to be better.
