I dont know, strict biblical literalism is a weird philosophy to adhere to and I dont think it fully grasps the intent of the passages. Especially in the psalms, those are supposed to be very poetic. and a symbolic understanding of those other “gods” makes sense if the intent of the pssage is to display the sovereignty and ultimate power of God.

You are correct... months ago my reflex reaction would have been to shut this argument down.. but after studying I realised its all over the bible lol.. and its not really our fault...a lot of us were taught that way and not to question things
