Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have a loved one in a nursing home and I am there all the time day in and day out evening daytime they have no idea what I’m coming so I ensure her safety I’ve gotten several people fired or removed from working with herso I would never allow them to even come close to sedating her but thank you for bringing this up, I will keep my eyes out more on her and I will look into it more. Thank you.

FYI, having an RN in the building doesn’t make anything safer. Lpn’s are the primary providers in long-term care.

Oh heck. The hospital sedated my dad to keep him in bed and he suffered with his memory and hallucinations when we took him home. He had this until he passed away in January

First the immigrants and now the elderly in nursing homes. More money for his pockets. He’s forcing the families take care of them. The best way around this to have volunteers to assist in quality care.

I believe this that happened to my Mom at a nursing home my Son went to visit her and she was talking with my Son and family and the next day she was not speaking she was not the same plus other bad things we noticed that was happening there 😞 please watch your family

This is not true… we are not sedating ppl to be able to take care of them… now we may work under staffed n long hrs but no one is keeping residents sedated
