Never fallen from a stand, did fall while mounting climbing sticks. Kicked out from under me, the top of the stick caught my belly button and cut 4” up and bruised the shit out of my stomach. Luckily only fell about 9 foot

I never use a harness. I make my stands hard to get into that you gotta think of how did this person get there.

that guy falling had a harness if you watch his YouTube video about it he will tell you he unhooked to climb down and grabbed a dead branch

I fell in 2017 and fractured 3 vertebrae in my back. I am so lucky. I now use a harness and the HSS Lifelines. So easy to use there is no excuse not to.

Tree stands, and Hammoks. Never put them higher than you are willing to fall from.

And he wasn’t even that high and went for a ride . I was 30 feet up and my seat broke from my summit climber. Thank god I was wearing mine
