The allay automates my farm and turns dappling and stick collecting into a breeze. Works awesome for collecting kelp, eggs, scutes, and help me not mos lamps and torches when I am replacing lighting in my structures

They ain't completely useless. They are a great alternative to Hopper minecarts and rails that collect items through blocks. For example: sniffer plant farms can have allays collect seeds and pitcher pods.

I LOVE my allays! I use like 5 of them when I’m mining out my massive underground base and they bring everything that I don’t have time to retrieve. They’re useful in the right scenarios same as copper golems, another mob that does work were too lazy to do

Why don't they buff it by giving it a random chance to enchant an unenchanted item. Next they can buff the speed and range of it.
