Good for you and them! Hearing the realities about post-birth is one of the reasons I decided not to have kids. It's brutal on the body and mind, and women should be informed before going through it.

yup for the first 2 months i was making everyone sit down and i was explaining everything in detail. the labor the pushing the tearing the stitches the meds they gave me the healing process the symptoms the smells i left no detail out!

I would’ve debriefed but my friends got shoved in the corner of my room during labor and couldn’t escape and had to watch. 😂 I got a list on notes of everything I said that I don’t remember during pushing. My fav was “ I just want a bowl of cereal please leave me alone”
