I have a sage barista pro, I use a grind size of 1, and the extraction time is 16-17 seconds! Pls help 🙃

Are there certain beans that make this impossible? I got gifted some beans recently and I can’t get them to pull slowly, they’re on the finest grind setting on my machine and I tried changing the portafilter basket but didn’t help. Even used 19g instead of 18g of coffee. No difference!

always dial in by taste also, if sour pull a longer shot, if bitter pull a shorter shot
