Why is everyone saying France has a weak military and horrible Military history? Yes there are some wars where France was defeated but other nations lose wars as well so it’s not just France. Plus france has a proud and strong military history Napoleonic wars , WW1 and the Crimean War plus without the French helping the 13 colonies out during the revolutionary war American might not be even be independent. Even in modern times France has proven capable in counter-terrorism operations in Africa and successful military operations during the Gulf War with America and Britain. If you still doubt this statement then just check Wikipedia for these wars and French involvement/battles.

people need to stop focusing on france's surrender during ww2. They just refuse to accept the fact french people are brave even during occupation and durinf war time. France may be beaten badly during WW1 but they still had a great spirit and bravery for defending their country and yet people still rip at them for it.
