As a veteran that is very familiar with the thing that supposedly hit his ear, I can say without a doubt that it never touched his ear. Even a scrape would've permanente changed the physicall shape of his ear. His followers will try to argue that it wasn't staged, but simple physics of contact is a fact that can't denied or lied about

If this was an assassination attempt, there's no way that photographers would be able to get that close. At that point, they didn't know where the shot was coming from. So first assignment would be to clear out any area close, not let people get closer. This was totally staged. They would also, not let the President stand up and pump his fist and put him in the line of sight again, not knowing where the shooter, or shooters whereabouts.
