I doubt Anakin would know how to manage the money the empire has. Anakin was more of a fighter than a political person. He is the kind to fight first and ask questions later.

The idea of Palpatine not seeing it coming falls apart completely when you think about how he dealt with Maul and Savage in TCW. They weren’t even on his mind and he still sensed them and went to put an end to all that

idk Vader was pretty subdued by palms for 20 yrs. palps probably felt pretty comfortable by then while also knowing his potential was diminished. while simultaneously he is a maniacal sith who was very much enjoying his lighting at the time and was not at all worried or thinking of Vader in the moment

See it’s hard for me to take those wood if seriously as well especially the ones where Palpatine doesn’t see it coming because of how smart pine is he was able to orchestrate a 13 year long plot that led to a war that ultimately got him control of the galaxy under everyone’s nose Do I think Anakin could become more powerful than poutine definitely Anakin was supposed to be either just as strong as a Luke or twice as strong and pad may ruling as empress makes no sense. She literally told him you’re falling down a path. I can’t follow you’re breaking my heart so I don’t get it.

Correct. Even if Anakin bests Obi-Wan, he'd be so unbalanced that even trying for the Emperor he'd get dispatched so quickly.
