You know what else sucks? Making it far but not having enough items, or a high enough level, to progress and then having to start over.

I left my switch 2 on idle after playing Suikoden but my GF played Mario kart and closed Suikoden and lost all my progress that night haha autosave saves lives

this is why I play everything on easy ... even if I did save correctly ... of I die more than 3 times in a row on a boss battle... I stop caring to play .... then I'll pick it up years later 😂

I've been playing legend of Dragoon for years. still haven't beaten it. and I know I'm not getting the best ending to since I'm not using a walkthrough. it's an old PS1 game, so when you die, it's right back to the last save spot

I played half life not too long ago and this happened constantly because each area is tough and you could die at any moment. It also felt cheap to constantly save. Old games are tough!
