Be careful with scents and pups. Many essential oils are actually toxic to dogs. Best to just use soy wax candles with scents like lavender which we know are pet safe

He’s biting because he’s teething. You still have a while longer in the piranha stage lol as for food look into Purina Pro Plan but anything BUT chicken because retrievers and labs have a natural allergy to chicken, I’d try the salmon.

The biting is because he’s teething. My golden was really bad even after his teeth came in. As he’s grown he’s gotten better- lots of toys! When he bites we say -no kisses. And then she’ll kiss instead.

With the biting - put some hot sauce on your fingers & hopefully he doesn’t like the taste..worked for both of my dogs. And maybe some toys specific for him to chew!

Be mindful what kibble you feed! Grain free diets lead to DCM in goldens. So make sure you feed a grain inclusive diet :). I’m no expert but this is what our breeder and her vet recommended to us when we picked up our golden puppy!

He’s just teething! My vet said 16 weeks is when the worst comes around bc of adult teeth. We noticed worse biting at 4 months, and also if our pup is overtired he bites more too!
