I told my wife we can explore Royal Caribbean now. The VIFP kept us loyal. We go on one and sometimes two cruises a year. That would keep us barely at Gold with no real way to go any higher because I don't see us spending more in two years. So we will shop around. Check out some other cruises to see where is the best value.

I'm leaving carnival but has nothing to do with vifp, it's because prices on cruise fair and packages keeps increasing, promos keep getting worse with less Obc and overall quality keep going down. Sailed NCL in April and loved it

Why not just add another Tier instead of punishing Platinum & Diamond Members and others? Revenue still would be generated.

I think kids who are platinum and diamond shouldn't be 😬...hear me out they are on their parents' coattails they're not paying I don't think you should be able to be platinum or diamond until you pay your own way 🫣🤔

Well you should have never offered them to begin with. You don’t give someone something they earned and take it away. I will still cruise carivnal but not staying loyal. I will cruise royal and ncl more now.

What’s not sustainable? Early boarding, a pin and a bag of laundry.. their loyalty perks suck. Royal Caribbean has better loyalty perks.

I’m platnium and my last cruise with Carnival will be in March. I now have 2 MSC and 2 NCL cruises booked after that. They don’t value us so no reason to sail with them any longer.
