To me the red flag is having to hide packages from your bf/husband...like why is he having negative reactions and making you feel scared to show them? That's the real red flag for me, it shows somethings off

Yeah if they are housewives it might seem strange, but my mum is working and she did this for a long time for really small things since we were in debt cuz of my dad so 🤷🏻♀️

My mom is my neighbor and I still kind of hide my purchases because growing up my parents always judged every single euro I spent. So now I feel guilty even when I buy toothpaste 😊

I hid my trash from UberEATS a few times when I was pregnant bc I was embarrassed but he found out and now it's a running joke with us that our son is made of shake shack cheese fries 😭😭

I hide nothing, but I don’t tell him about everything. Honestly he wouldn’t care. Most things are like restock of skincare or supplements, I don’t spend a lot. For anything clothes or similar I ALWAYS share.

I do not hide nothing, instead I am going like a child telling him “look! Look what I got for us” or “look! Look what I got for the kids!” If I buy something for me, I don’t tell him, he doesn’t care honestly and I do not overspend. If he sees something new on me he doesn’t notice all the time, he just say “you look awesome babe” He is just very interested in making more money everyday. I am a SAHM btw.

I never hid packages and never will. We sit down and talk about a big purchase or what we need. I also ask for his opinion because I do tend to purchase stuff that I do not need.

I am with you on this, it’s a red flag. I don’t hide packages, we do have a rule in our marriage. If it’s a large amount at a certain price we discuss it. Under that, we trust each other to use our judgement, if it’s a want or a need.

Sometimes I get a bit wild with shopping, but if my husband comments something I just listen and dont do it till we need something. I think it depends on relationship and how both agree to spend money..

Me and my mum hide our shopping trip buys from my dad even though he literally gets the notifications to his phone on what’s been spent and from where 😂 it’s a shared account that’s solely my mums money too bc my dads goes to bills etc 😂 we do it for the thrill 😂
