I believe this 1000%. I was engaged to a LDS lady who tried to convert me ,but I grew up southern Baptist. However, I always stayed true to myself but I did not agree with Mormons principles. I had a very hard time believing in their ways so I stopped going and went back to my church. This caused a huge reaction from ex fiancé and her young adult kids. I was crucified. Long story made short don’t change yourself to fit in someone’s else narrative. What is right for you will come and they will love you for who YOU are. Not the version who they want you to be.
