Two births and never had any Pitocin. Had it on my birth plan to use it if I was showing signs of hemorrhaging only. I hate blanket statements like that one.

I get it after delivery because it causes your uterus to contract, 7th baby due in October

I didn’t get any. I showed up to my induction in early labor so they just let me labor on my own.

Off topic, LOVE your hair. On topic: the only reason I got pit was due to hemmorage. But all mine were premature. So. 🙃

I wouldn’t say it’s used as often as she says. 3 births, only one had pitocin and it was an induction. Don’t plan on using it this time either unless necessary.

didn't have it with my first, but my second they has it on cause I was contracting for over 6hrs and was at 2cm no change, even after bout 4hrs no change and then they gave me magic morphine then within an hr I was at a 7 then 30min I was at 10 ready to go
