When I introduced my husband to my mother 20 years ago, he took off his hat in the pizza parlor restaurant that we were eating at, and my mom knew he was top shelf.

Here’s the thing though 😂 my fiance and I run 3 businesses that are doing very well. We CAN afford the bougie restaurants around here that have dress codes however - you couldn’t pay me enough money in the world to eat at a place with a dress code 💀 my MIL has invited us out with her to one of them and we’ve said no both times. who cares how I’m dressed do you want my money or not 😂😂

Yesss I feel this!! Just got back from a girls trip in 30A area of Florida (Seaside/Santa Rosa/Rosemary Beach area) and I felt country as cornbread there 😂 I will take PCB the redneck Rivera any day! I feel ya sis but they don’t know what they are missing living that country life 💜

My dad's biggest pet peeve is men wearing hats inside. You should never wear one inside, anywhere from someone raised in the poor south.

Oof. this sounds similar to the Greenbrier in WV. I thought it'd be a fun date night for me & my husband but after reading their dress code requirements & seeing that ball caps were not allowed I realized they were way to boujee for us 😅🤣
