The point is with the game key cards they cost the exact same amount of money as the digital. Every issue you have with digital you’re gonna have with the game key card. There’s no additional issues and you get a cool case.. every single thing people are saying is wrong with game key cards has nothing to do with key cards and just has to do with digital.

I think the game key cards are primarily due to the turnaround. Studios had to get them on the market and it wasn’t feasible to actually manufacture them. Give it time and I think we’ll start seeing more full cartridges with games.

The convoluted physical game situation made me go all digital this generation. The Switch 1 will likely be the last console I buy physical games.

Something about a tangible cartridge that I insert, eject, and store in its case makes the experience much more enjoyable for me. For that reason I’ll choose key cards over digital when it’s an option.

Blame Nintendo for offering only one cartridge size. Makes the majority of Switch 2 physical releases cost more than it’s worth for publishers when they have to spend $15 on a 64 GB cartridge for a 1 GB game.

The problem is the companies that decide to do game keycards, not nintendo themselves, though nintendo is the only company that had required them to say that it's a keycard

I buy first party games physical, everything else I only get when its full on a cardridge at full price. If games have a really good discount I buy them digital. You can't expect me to buy a gamekeycard for 10€ more when its literaly the same as digital, like come on scam someone else EA, Sega, Ubiflop, Microsoft, etc.

The Swtich 2 edition games they will still run without additional downloads. Just when you download the updates it will download the whole Switch 2 edition update as well as the normal updates. Hope Nintendo works to fix that.

Idk why people are mad about the Carts like it’s way better than nothing and they still have resell value so I don’t see the issue for now because adventually if this stays than people will get full on storage but by than I think it will be fixed

If you want switch 2 games to be fully on the cartridge then just stop buying the stupid key cards. Speaking as a Nintendo fan, why complain when you become part of the problem. Be a loyal fan by voting with your wallet. Just buy the real cartridges.🤦 You also said misinformation about Rune Factory. the big update isn't required. the game is on the cart along with the expansion pack. the update is just a big patch that is unnecessary and doesnt force you to download.
