I just had my surgery last week - and the full liquid stage was ridiculously hard. I was actually cleared to start pureed foods already and I never thought, like ever, that I would cry (from joy) over eating yogurt as slowly as possible 😂

It’s so worth it! The liquid part is the worst but it sets the stage for resetting your tastebud state and starting a whole new way of eating. I’m 8 months post op. No regrets.

The liver shrink diet had me in tears! 😅 I was so hungry, I get more satiated with chewing! But I had my scope done the day I started my diet, should’ve finished with a fancy meal the night before and I just had my same chicken and broccoli 😭
