I own 10 acres and I’m not a beer drinker, but somebody offered me a case of beer hunt. I told him I don’t care but my dog roams the property once in a while. Turns out on the camera cameras I see her going hunting with him all the time. 😂

I remember hearing a story from a guy with like 20-30 acres of woods and apparently “always had deer and Turkey” on the land. He didn’t care who came to hunt but you had to put anywhere from $2-20 (20 was during peak hunting season) and you had to put a bandana or something on the gate to go on to the property. If there was a bandana you couldn’t go on the land if there wasn’t you could put the money in his mailbox and go on. He didn’t care for anyone going he just said he used the money to help pay for crops and the bandana or something on the gate helped keep everyone safe. If he found out you went out without putting anything on it he’d call the cops and say you didn’t have permission.

I grew up on a Ranch with 1000+ acres in the Flint Hills of Kansas. We really did not give a shit as long as you just asked nicely, and didn't shoot the cattle. We STILL found evidence of poaching and dead cattle every single year. It gets to a point.
