I’m just gonna say this. People’s reaction to the trailer was not an overreaction. A character’s voice is one of their signatures. It makes them recognizable from a crowd of other characters. If that voice were to be changed so significantly like the one in the trailer, season 7 would have such a different feeling as the other seasons because the main character would sound incredibly different. It’s not an overreaction to think that the trailer’s voice doesn’t fit what Gumball actually sounds like. I was terrified when I heard Gumball’s voice in the trailer and believed that I would be unable to get used to the change but was relieved when I was told that his actual voice actor’s voice wasn’t in that trailer. No, I was never expecting them to keep the previous 3 voice actors. You guys keep saying that without actually understanding what we mean. A character’s voice, especially a main character’s, is one of the most important and defining features of a show
