A lot of kids are being introduced to graphic novels as first books because it’s easier for them to grasp and comprehend what’s happening in the story, then they tend to branch out and explore more traditional books. I also love that more classics are becoming graphic novels because I want to read them, but my brain doesn’t LIKE to read wordy books (which is why I tend to read children and YA novels)
