YES!!! I grew up in church and have been saying this for YEARRSSS. And to all saying “then that’s not a Christian man.” SHE KNOWS THAT. Many of them are wolves…demons…in sheep’s clothing and it’s more calculated because they know the Word and use it to their advantage. Especially against Christian women who aren’t trained on how to catch this behavior. Just taught to “date a man in church”.

i agree w some comments that then… they are NOT a man of God lol but i def get what u mean like while I know what the bible says, the idea of a woman being her husbands helper and all this constantly being brought up definitely gives overly domineering persona like OK you’re a man i get it but we BOTH make this thing work not just the man😂 like i def pray i God doesn’t test me with one of those men!

Nah, I’m def accountable enough to know that I’m still on my walk with God, and while I wanna be everything the Bible tells me to be, I’m not perfect, so imma slip up from time to time. All it is, is making sure you give each other grace to the extent you feel comfortable with cuz expecting perfection will lead you to disappointment

GIRLL… my ex was a newer Christian, who was very biblically legalistic. Was more focused on telling me everything I did was wrong, couldn’t communicate, was quick to anger, and broke up with me a week after our one year anniversary, because he said my world views (like women voting rights) were wrong. He broke it off on the phone. He is 40 years old. 😑😑

HELL FUCKING LOOOOO. I’m not Christian anymore but I grew up in the church ! Trust me I know. And even now when I meet a guy that’s aligned with my beliefs, GOD FORBID we can’t even have an intellectual conversation exchanging perspectives, because you get criticized for every thought you have. They can’t even hear you out. Theirs have to over power yours. And you get gaslighted. By them wanting to be so dominant, they try to come off as your father at times. Chile 😂😂
