As a long term kitten foster - it's not about "you" as the foster. It's about giving neglected animals a safe place, an in between until their forever family finds them. You'll be ok, so will the animal bc they were even given that chance

I've been fostering kittens since my son was about 7-8. and everytime we had to give them back, he cried. he got angry and told me he never wanted any more kittens. but eventually, he was ready and asked for more. He's 18 now and still gets upset when thw they have to go, as he's just an emotional guy. but he gets it. He understands why we do this and why it hurts. I'm so greatful my kids are empathetic and emotional. they are the kindness this world needs.

This is one of the sweetest things, it can be such a rewarding thing. I’ve always wanted to foster but haven’t been in the space to or it be fair on the animal but I will definitely the second I can but I always love hearing your foster stories. Side note: I forgot you had a son cause I’ve seen so many videos about your daughters😂

How young was your youngest when you started fostering? About to have another baby, but want to get back into fostering when done with the baby phase. I worry toddlers will overwhelm the fosters.
