So, Quaker patriots in the wilds make huge elaborate nests in groups, weaving together twigs, sticks and all sorts of things. This is him doing that behavior in his cage. I will warn you that this can cause increased hormonal behavior, but if that’s not a problem, awesome. If he starts cage guarding, I’d recommend taking them out each day and letting him ‘rebuild’ the nest each day but not to keep it. Then he gets the enrichment without the hormonal aggression.
