I was in an dv relationship for 11 years in fear/threaten that if I left I would me or my kids would be unalived. I attempted to unalive myself twice thinking that then I would be free and my parents would get my kids and they’d be safe. 2018 God started to guide me with the courage to get us us out. September 2018 with blind faith courage and a shit ton of fear I got me and my kids to safety. My kids and I have been alive and free since then. It has not been an easy rode . My kids who are now 23 years old and 20 years old have been able to heal from our trauma little by little. I have severe ptsd depression and anxiety. I have many people till me that I’m lucky to have gotten out alive. I’m not lucky I’m blessed that God pulled us to safety. I still have nightmares and certain smells with send me into panic . I pray and ask God to take those images away hopefully one day. I’m sending you a virtual hug to you and your babies. If you ever need someone to take too Im here. God had plans for us!! Your story is going to help another woman who needs courage to get out. God bless you Mujer!!! 🙏🙏

Good for you girl! I know just what you went through! It takes bravery and you not only did the best thing for you, but for your babies! If you’re not in therapy, it truly helps especially with PTSD. I’m in therapy and it truly helps! 🙏🏻💖
