Why do people feel the need to share their most personal experiences on TikTok with strangers? I just don’t get it. Don’t they have friends or family they can confide in about their trauma? In this case, it’s not even your own accident you’re sharing—it feels like exploiting your husband’s suffering just to put yourself in the spotlight. If I were Mike, I definitely wouldn’t want anyone putting the painful details of a life-changing accident out there for everyone to see. It almost feels like a violation of privacy.

This is so insane. I saw this first hand. As I was walking up to the club, I saw your husband rolling around in the seawater covered in burns then later unconscious from the shock. I could not believe what was in front of my eyes. My boyfriend and I always wondered what happened to him and prayed for him that day. I am so glad that God protected him And that he was able to make a full recovery for the most part. Wow.

Omg this is wild, in 2022 the same thing happened to me with a flaming shot on Sail Croatia! Someone dropped one on me and set me on fire and I had to roll on the ground. I had to go to Split to go to hospital and was horrible experience they gave me 0 pain relief. They told me it happens super often I can’t believe they still do this

Unfortunately your horror story is not first nor last one.Croatia is not equipped to handle this kind of accident .i heard of same story like yours however with fatal ending.The place serving drinks while on fire no fire distinguisher its responsible for unfortunate pain and suffering of your Mike I hope this is settled in court with Mike and you , due too his needs for excruciating snd long recovery.Prayets for you and Mike 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Just so everyone knows: if you pour liquor or gas on a fire it will travel up and into the container with the accelerant and explode. NEVER pour something on an active fire!

You didn’t wait to long. This helped me because I had never heard of a fire shot explosion. God bless you and your family. I pray that he will continue to improve. Burns are horrible and so painful. I can’t even imagine what he went through. But, NO way of extinguishing a fire in a bar like this or anywhere for that matter? That’s just insane. They need to be held responsible for this. This is in no way your fault. He wanted to take you on a trip of a lifetime and it would have been. Hopefully you will be able to have many more trips together and make happy memories again. 🙏❤️❤️

heard the butter and sea water parts and my hesrt started pounding. that could’ve cost him his life - #1 thing in 3rd degree burn situation is preventing infection, never tough or put anything on the wound

Omg, horrific. I can relate to your story in so many ways except it was not my husband it was a painter at Sandals resort in Jamaica. I've never forgotten for one second this gentleman I can only imagine your horror/trauma especially being the person you love the most. if I can tell you one thing you would never have went there if you had an inkling something would happen. I know you feel guilt, I'm sure you say what if a thousand times and blame yourself silently please don't please. I'm sending you so much love and hugs I'm so terribly sorry this has happened to both Mike and yourself. one day at a time you're never going to forget for a second but you will heal a piece at a time. when tragedy strikes abroad you get full realization how good we have it in North America because they are never prepared for anything. Oh my gosh, We were there that day. Tried to keep in touch with one of the other guys that y’all knew on the Day 8 app and what’s app. Always prayed he was ok! So glad for the update and glad he’s healing slowly but surely. 🫶🏼
