It 100% is an addiction. No matter how much $ they have it’ll never be enough. They think more $ will fill that hole inside them, but it won’t. Have you ever met rich ppl? They are some of the most miserable ppl I’ve ever encountered… and they have everything. How many normal ppl would be thrilled and happy if they didn’t have to worry about food or rent, yet these ppl can buy whatever they want, go wherever they want, but they still can’t fill that void inside. Just like junkies. Funny thing is, therapy and working on themselves would help more than more $, but they can’t seem to figure that out.

Someone said that boomers and millennials completely disconnect on money issues because essentials used to be cheap and luxuries were super pricey and now it’s flipped. Housing, childcare, and food are $$$ but a tv is nothing. Boomers never realized it changed.
