I’m Arab & we call these “thoom Ajam” which translates to “the garlic of Ajam.” Ajam is an old Arabic word that meant non-Arabic speaking/non-Arab back in the day, and now it is mostly used to refer to Persian/Iranian. So we literally call “mooseer” Persian Garlic! Lol how cool 😇

Ik that’s Iraqi ppl call it thawm ajim but I don’t know what they call it in English. They just translate it to dried garlic.
