I used to work for a mold remediation company two decades ago. Anyway this one builder of new construction homes were the ones who essentially kept us in business. All at the same time the majority of the large jobs were the homeowners living in that ONE builders homes. So it’s likely any neighbors in those homes have the same exact issues right now. I am so upset for you. Goodness, Tara, I’m thinking of you guys & sending you love-your neighbor included ♥️🥰♥️

As a real estate agent, it BREAKS MY HEART to see people lose their home to foreclosure!! Please, call a good real estate agent that can help you get it sold before the bank steps in. Even if it has to be sold for less than what she owes. There are options. 🥺

Please go to your other neighbors houses and ask if they have noticed anything. These builders probably built these homes VERY quickly and clearly very poorly. Wouldn’t be surprised if you’re not the only one.

did the developers also build on an ancient native american burial ground? depending on how many houses have it, you could be looking at a class action. presuming, of course, you can prove the issue is widespread and from the same source. it wouldn't be shocking

If she cleaned with bleach it have fed it. Some types of mold thrive on it. It’s harder to find but using an anti-microbial at least once a month helps. I usually go to home depot.

You have to have some legal rights and remedies that you can pursue! It sounds to me like the builder did not follow codes and requirements, therefore you have grounds for a lawsuit!! You need to find somebody who’s willing to take it on a pro bono or contingency basis. There are personal injury attorneys out there that will do it.!! I suggest you start looking and do it soon.

My mom was getting so sick and we couldn’t figure out why. They were doing renovations at her job and found black mold behind the walls and she’d been working in there for 15 years. She was diagnosed with COPD and died five years ago and I miss her so much!!

Maybe there’s a double blessing in a rare coin with an error that will buy both of you new homes. 🤪 I wonder if you did a survey of all the homes built by the builder if everyone is experiencing the same issues.
