We order a full cow. I got it vacuum sealed 3+ years ago and still going. And the meat is as good as the day we brought at home.

that not half a cow. that's a while cow. average hanging weight of a whole cow is 5-7 hundred pounds. if that's half a cow, that was a monstrous cow.

510 lbs????? thatbwas most likely your HANGING WEIGHT. Minus the hide, guts, head, feet. Nost likely for a half youbprobably ended up with around 350lbs-375lbs of meat product, BROUGHT HOME.

I don’t believe this is actually 510lbs of meat.. your beef probably weighed 510lbs and then it got processed and trimmed up. You’re probably sitting around 300lbs after processing. Unless you told them to not trim anything and to give you every bone on the beef, then you’d be at 510lbs.
