@itsmerandadysart: 18lbs down since the beginning of the year and I still remember when it felt impossible.. But every small choice added up. Here’s what’s helped me lose 18 lbs (so far!) and feel stronger, clearer, and more like myself again — as a busy mom of two juggling life, work, and everything in between: 🏋🏽♀️ Lifting weights 3–4x a week — nothing crazy, just staying consistent with a split I enjoy (think: 2 leg days & 2 upper body) 🍑 2 leg days a week — because strong glutes = better runs, less back pain, and feeling more confident in shorts 👟 Running 2x a week (slow is still a pace) — it reminds me that I can do hard things 💨 Daily walks & hitting 10k+ steps — it’s the simplest way to boost energy + burn more without burnout 🍳 High-protein meals + snacks — I aim for 160g+ daily to stay full, recover faster, and support fat loss 🧠 80/20 nutrition — I’m not perfect, but I’ve found freedom in balance. I eat in a way that feels good, not punishing This didn’t happen overnight — it’s been real, slow, sustainable change.
