I have to say this is the most reckless case of stolen valor anybody that has served in the United States military know that this uniform is all wrong. He’s got everything under the son of God on that uniform. You should be ashamed of yourself.

A shaving profile used correctly was never an issue in the past, keeping the hair close to the face. People started abusing it though to grow full beards which did look unprofessional and was not available to every soldier. If they want beards in the Army, then advocate for every soldier to have them.

Yall really in your feelings about this shaving profile. Learn how to shave without getting bumps. You can shave and not get bumps. I use to get them until I learn how to shave. Definitely don't use a dry straight razor. Get an electric razor. Stop whining!!!

This start with the recruiting offices. I know for a fact they tell these young guys don’t say nothing at MEPS just get in and everything will workout and get on profile.

That’s the entire issue is too many people abused the regulations and now others have to redo their medical profiles. In this case you should definitely hate the player, because they definitely played all the legitimate Soldiers needing help.

Having a profile and still shaving is wild. It’s the Soldiers that’s getting on here saying they aren’t shaving and they don’t even have a profile at all. 75% of them are going to shave. They are getting on here causing issues for themselves for no reason. It’s one thing if they have a legit issue, but a lot of them don’t.

When I was in the service, it was all about being part of something bigger than myself. It was understood that personal hardship and sacrifice were going to be part of it. Seems like many folks in the military today, either never learned that or forgot about it somewhere along the way. Sad to see, grown men crying because they were asked to shave.

Just use an electric razor. The type you use on your side burns. It will get you a close enough cut and with your coloring no one will be able to tell.

Myself a PSG (also have condition on back of my neck) Valued my CSM who brought everyone in and allowed leaders to attend a directive briefing. Made the guidelines very clear, and allowed Soldier's to vent their concerns and allow time and a way forward medically. I will fight for my soldiers and their health conditions because I also know the pain

I had to shave with a razor the Ssgt dragged on a piece of glass on his desktop. I’m not having any sympathy. I was 19 and new in a training command. Didn’t have fuzz even.
