Magneto was always was always made the villain not because his motives or his goals, but the methods he took. Growing up I didn’t understand that the only promise of peace with “bullies” is either through mutually assured destruction or elimination. We don’t often get Superman endings in the real world.

I dont think I ever thought Magneto was a villan keep in mind my first exposure to Marvel was the X-man cartoon on fox and they did a great job making humans look like the bad guys.
