I stopped playing for a while because my ex forced me to play healer and had a premade character for me and I /hated/ it. He and his friends got mad because I told them I wanted to make my own character and whatnot and stole their stuff and didn’t heal because they refused to let me play something I wanted

I stopped dming for 2-3 years because I had a party I used to DM for, out of the 6 players only 2 ever cared about the plot while the others just ignored everything at all times unless it was loot. Ive been DMing for 15 years and finally have a group of newish players who love RP and build diversity, we meet weekly for sessions.

I’ve always wanted to playyyyyyyy but I don’t know a lot about the game and I’ve never had a group of people to do it with outside of my brothers group but I always miss the start ups on their campaigns!! And they’ve been at it for a while so I don’t want to intrude on their already played campaign😭😭😭

I was able to talk to my DM and make a rouge Frogfolk. Her name is Taddi Dart and looks like a green poison tree dart frog. Big black beady eyes gave me a boost in intimidation 😂 loved every second of it.

I refused to play DnD for YEARS because of the type of people it sometimes attracts but I’m so thankful to be in a campaign with friends now 🙏 I begged the DM who hosted a one shot for us to run this campaign and she agreed to do Tyranny of Dragons 🥰 We aren’t that far in!

In our shadowrun game our team built a bunch of support characters because we wanted to hack and stuff and our friend’s boyfriend made a street samurai so that was good enough because he had tons of weapons to hurt things. But in our first confrontation he told us his character is a pacifist.
