![Hameln Rat’s performance at Megacon Live! The first Amanda the Adventurer themed mascot suit during its first stage run 🐀❤️ Doing this dance onstage was so fun, but overall, this was one of the worst days in my journey as a maker. Sadly, even though I had been so excited for this day, preparing this costume for three months solid, some of my biggest nightmares came to be, some of the most awful treatment from organisers was given and even dangerous things were asked of me. None of this was ever intended to cause harm, and I wish nothing bad of anyone, but this was not an accessible costume masquerade for a suit the size or nature of Hameln. Despite this, I am SO proud of this costume and the performance I gave through it all. I got to celebrate a game I LOVE in public, and create something unique and terrifying that pushed the limits of my costume making ability. Nobody can take that away from me, and it was an AMAZING feeling! 💕🫶 To all of you who doled out water, their eyesight, compliments and reassurance to me during this absolute torture, you are wonderful people! It reminded me that there are friends there to help through hard times. @Uno, @*🄼iles !! :] @Pink @Hap :0 @Krabsy @Korvik_Klezz-Poprov are those of you I know the handles of, I genuinely appreciate you all SO much, and I couldn’t have done any of this without your inputs!! Whilst I will not be returning to Megacon with the Hameln Rat, Uno and I are currently figuring out some more venues we can bring it to. We’re aiming to do For The Love of Horror with it in November to see the attendees, but we might be able to do something else with them before then — at least I hope so! The suit and design is also up for sale but I’ll be wearing and drawing it until it sells because of the love I have for it 🫶 Just DM me if you’d like to discuss buying it!!
