Sorry that you couldn't get authentic Jaffna dishes. I think you went in off lunch time. Fried rice is not the Jaffna original food. Just rice and curry of any kind and some side dishes are the great lunch choices.

you made a mistake by buying beef, jaffna is predominantly hindu and beef is there for the Christians minority and tourist and most stores dont know how to cook beef unless you don't a Muslim or christian store even then its not AAA beef! stick to chicken or mutton should taste better

if u want eat better taste kottu or fried rice u have to ..the beach line staring from Wattala city to Negambo city.all over hotels are best in all island ,and u can get rs.350 fried rice to rs 5500 rice on ure own luxury.🇱🇰
