as a color specialist this is typical of the first lightening on artificial black color. I fully explain this to clients tho when we do they're first lighten. I warn them it's going to take 4-6 appointments, it's going to be very expensive and very time consuming and you WILL NOT like it for the first 2 appointments. I will always show clients the raw lift after bleach before it's colored and explain why it's lifted unevenly, and explain how each area needs a completely different color to make the finished color as even as possible. black lightening is a full on color correction and you have no idea what color it will be til it's done lifting. to keep it an even and desirable color you may in the end only get one level of lift maybe 2, if you are canceling all the warmth that comes up after bleach. again it's expensive, it's risky, it's never even and they won't like it. if they can commit to that I'll go ahead otherwise I'll decline to do it on them.

also traumatised from circles!! $400 to damage the hell out of my hair, gave me black hair when I asked to go back to my natural hair light brown from blonde balayage. When I told them it wasn’t what I wanted they told me to think about it over the weekend.. ended up going elsewhere to get it fixed!!
