I'm kinda disappointed that we never had a classroom activity where we had to say our birth years in French. I was born in 2000 but my grade was split between 1999 and 2000 babies, so that would have been funny as hell 😅

I was in a French speaking country when I was kid and we had French as a second language in elementary school. Everyday one of us had to write the date in full words on the board. I left the country when the 90s ended. I still think about mille neuf cent quatre vingt dix-neuf.

When I was in high school, my French teacher would ask us to say complicated French phrases for extra credit after exams and having to say mille neuf cent quatre vignt dix neuf was one of them😂
