Thank god people are taking notice!! Just spoke to nurse whose autistic son was about to have a tonsillectomy without opiates. They used his autism as a way to explain not giving opiates for post op PAIN. 😡 I shared my experience of my granddaughter receiving no proper pain treatment and she is pushing for appropriate post op care. I’ll tell every parent and grandparent I can! Abusing our children needs to stop!!

I was given Tylenol and ibuprofen only after my gallbladder removal, was in so much pain I couldn't stand up straight. Was told it's the surgeons "policy" to not give better pain meds. Pediatric surgeon in Iowa at UIHC, I was 18. Luckily I had some leftover meds from the ER for the gallstone attack pain, I would have ended up in the ER without it, I couldn't sleep it was so bad. It's plain evil to let people be in that much pain 😓 Thank you for speaking out!

I did a pain management free wisdom tooth surgery, all 4 extracted ended up getting an infection almost went septic i couldn't imagine a more advanced surgery like that.

I had to take my child to ER after they said tylenol only. she couldn't drink, level 10 pain. ER dr looked me dead in the eye and said to me "What drug are you after exactly"? I said "The kind that alleviates my child's pain!!!" they still wouldn't give her anything.

My son got his adenoids and turbinates removed at 5. He reacted poorly to the anesthesia and they sent us out with nothing. No tylenol or Motrin. We had to stop at Walgreens.

This is getting ridiculous! It’s not just chronic pain patients it’s getting to be everyone! All these doctors and nurses that don’t agree with this craziness going on need to join your page and donate to help. We all need to get together and scream as loud as we can together! Together we stand divided we fall!

Had a tonsillectomy/Uvulectomy at 34 yrs old and it was the most excruciating pain I've ever experienced. No way in hell I would have gotten through it with only Tylenol. It would be cruel to make anyone have a procedure like that without proper pain control

Yeah, all three of my grandchildren who had their tonsils out only Tylenol what’s in tone I was floored because when my three children had their tonsils out many moons ago, at least we had more than that

In 1993 I was a teenager and had a tonsillectomy and was given liquid Tylenol only. It was horrific! My mom crawled the doctor up and down and he sent Tylenol #3....
