it's not only the shade of lip balm people want to see on their skin, it's also texture. I don't think people will be happy if they can't actually swatch lip balm themselves

For the scent smelling maybe can try same method as detergent shelf in Japan. U can smell the small beads in front of the shelf for the fragrance

grow water babies in wtv deodorant scent yall have and put those into a pepper container (or basically a container w easy open lid). Tie the bottle to the display rack and people can smell them and add more liquid scent whenever it doesn’t smell anymore

For lipbalm, maybe u guys can try to do virtual try-on filter, put the qr code either on the shelf or on the lipbalm packaging. For the deodorant, maybe can try to make a sticker, where you can scratch and smell the scent from it. I saw most of the car perfume products at diy did it.

I really like how hooga sample their perfume, maybe can take them for example, , the perfume is put ina glass bottle, the. A cover over the bottle, when you want to smell the perfume, just lift it up and smell, no touchy touchy and rub rub

For shades a small rectangle (like the v2) raffle ticket “booklet” using a non stick paper like parchement customers can take 1 and swatch on their skin produces a bit of paper waste but keeps colours from mixing and keeps it hygienic as the customer only touches the one they used and they can then use as colour reference if not buying right after testing

Why don’t make the lip balm tester smaller? Smaller surface area less contamination…save money…you can replace it more frequently…like just a small round thin lip balm
