I’d go so far as to say that San Miguel is the best when it comes to those 15–18-pack, reasonably priced, commercial lagers around the 5% mark. Stella comes close, but for me, it’s San Miguel all day. It’s just that bit crisper, with more flavour and balance — a cut above the rest in its bracket.
