@jessicabarnak: Circling back to an earlier video where I said I wasn’t devastated by cancer. #breastcancersurvivors #breastcancerfighter💪🏻 #breastcancerwarriors #aftercancer #breastcancer #cancersurvivor #breastcancer
I didn’t even cry the first tine. This time I’m just sad for what my kids will have to deal with when I’m gone.

i 100% agree with this. I did 7 cycles of chemo which were brutal, I had a double mastectomy and lymph node removal 5 days ago. my treatment isn't finished yet. I've changed, I've cried but I'm not devastated or broken. I'm stronger than before and a better person and very proud of myself for who i am ❤️

I’m stage 4 colon and I tell everyone this has made my life richer in many ways.It’s brutal and painful and isolating but I agree 100% with everything you’ve said. It is what it is, it’s my life, I am changed for the better, broken but not beaten. Hugs for you x

when I found out I had cancer, I looked at it as another thing to get through. chemo was tough because I was so fatigued that I had to learn to ask for help, then surgery wasn't too bad, then the burns from radiation. I feel very blessed for making it to the other side without too much trouble.

Great post Hun. I am a totally different/better person than I was before my cancer diagnosis. A diagnosis changes you, it has to change you hopefully for the better. I wouldn’t say I’m glad I had cancer but what I would say is that the experience was a blessing. I’m sure that sounds weird.

The only way that I made it through cancer is because of Jesus my Lord and Saviour! Cancer is not over in my case, waiting for results to see if there's a recurrence, even though the cancer was removed in Feb 2025. But, JESUS! is the one that keeps me strong, filled with love, joy, and peace, Amen 🙏

You really give such great words of advice. I agree with you and I am still going through Chemo and I am just doing it and living my life as normal as I can. I am not going to let cancer define who I am. Like you said it is a chapter in my life.❤️

I feel like people who never get it think that they will be devastated, but once you get the diagnosis it feels so different than what you expect! I’m sad, sometimes I have been angry, I’ve been sick and scared.. But not devastated! ❤️

When I was diagnosed I was grateful that I was the one instead of one of my children. I had to have a glimmer of goodness despite the hard fight ahead of me

I’m mostly annoyed. I’m tired of being poked and proded. I’m tired of people taking pictures of me. I’m tired of getting expander fills. I’m tired of having surgeries. But I’m still happy and I feel loved.
