@sunxueling: <> Punggol and Sengkang residents will be happy to know that the new two-car Light Rail Vehicles for the Sengkang Punggol LRT has been officially launched today. One two-car LRV has been placed on the west loop for Punggol, and another two-car LRV on the east loop for Punggol. More cars (which add to a total of 25 two-car LRVs) will replace the entire fleet for Sengkang-Punggol LRT in the coming months, till the end of 2028. With the new two-car LRV , there is more ergonomic seating, better LED display and air-conditioning. Residents will enjoy a more comfortable ride. There will be expansion of the depot to accomodate the new fleet and we hope for residents’ patience while the works are ongoing. @Ministry of Transport✨ @Land Transport Authority
