Mine doesn't travel for work (well...outside the area really, he travels to other towns/cities in our area) but he's texting me throughout the day...on his breaks and lunch...when he's riding in the work van on the way home...basically any time he has a spare moment...he's texting me. I've had partners that don't...and I didn't like it.

my husband also works out of town, and our conversation time is on his drive from the jobsite to the rental house. he just doesnt always have time throughout the day, so we understand that when we talk we talk, but no one is upset if the other is busy. we cherish the 45min ish drive he has home at the end of the day! then we always talk before bed, and send a quick text to say good morning!

My partner doesn’t travel for work we are with each other everyday but he still calls me on my lunch break and on his drive home everyday even now 15 years and 4 kids down the track

My husband travels a lot for his job too and it’s the exact same for us! ❤️He calls me as often as he can and if he can’t he makes sure to text me what’s going on and that he’ll call me when he can!

My man works from home and I’m a stay at home mom and we still text during the day while he is working in his office and I’m taking care of the house, errands, and everything else I do. We are in the same house and still manage to update and keep in contact while doing things.

My deal with my husband when one of us is away is a good morning text and a phone call at night. We may also text throughout the day. That works plenty for us. But every relationship is different!

Mine sounds a lot like yours always a good morning text… he’s pretty busy throughout the day but always shoots a text or a call if he gets a moment… and he has a 2 hour commute each way and calls til he looses service then calls and talks for awhile after he eats and ends it with a face time for our son every night never misses a beat in the last 8 1/2 years… I’m starting to think he’s obsessed with me 😂😂😂 jk I know he is so I wouldn’t have it any other way feelings mutual lol

My husband travels for work at least two weeks a month. He is texting me the whole time, calls me at least twice a day and almost always FaceTimes so our kids can see him too.
