@annmariefronduto: Part 2 is posted, looks like I’ll be here in bed/at home the next few days! Thank you all for checking in and following along my pregnancy journey with me 🫶🏼
Random question, did they just do one swab test? I’m currently at the hospital with PPROM. My first swab was negative, but when they swabbed closer to my cervix it turned blue (positive for amniotic fluid) 😬. I have had zero fluid/symptoms, but definitely have a leak 🤷🏼♀️

Not everybody has a huge gush when their water breaks. When my water broke, it felt like a tiny bit of fluid came out like if I peed myself a little bit. You should buy the pads that you can wear that will turn blue or green if it is amniotic fluid.

It really upsets me that you even feel like you have to explain yourself this much. You spoke to the medical professional familiar with your case who advised you to go in-and that’s it. That’s all that matters. Anyone that had an opinion on that can zip it.

I've had 3 pregnancies. Made it to 10cm with all 3 without water breaking. My Dr broke my water all 3 times

FYI it def does not have to be a large gush! You can have a slow leak, high leak etc. so not always a huge gush at all! 😉 every body is different so always going to be safe.

My water broke with my first at 35 weeks (huge instant pop and gush) but my water was broken by my doctors with my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I was 10cm with my 4th baby and my doctor still broke my water. It’s different every single time. This could definitely be your water leaking babe. Follow your gut and trust it and go in whenever you feel something is off. Better to be safe♥️sending you my best wishes and prayers honey

My water ruptured, and didn't gush. It just felt like I slightly peed when I would stand up.

My water broke before I felt any contractions and it felt like I was peeing a little except I couldn’t control it. No huge gush though.

So I’m assuming it depends on how big of a tear in the amniotic sac/placenta there is.
