So true in the U.S. too. I remember seeing an article in the New York Times in the 2000s warning women against becoming too educated because it made us less desirable and less likely to marry. Decentering men should be a mandatory class of empowerment for girls every year of schooling. But of course that doesn’t serve the patriarchy and their need for free labor and servitude of women. We wake up too late to the lies we’re fed. It makes me sad to have wasted so many years

My fav tiktok creator, women in Turkey ( and in a lot of other countries ) still live between a good job and having to get married and have children , and they regret the latter , too late

All of it. Women give so much more to society. That they can grow and nurture another human being in their body is incredible. That they can outshine male physicists. The younger generation will not dim their light for men. And I’m here for it. 💕

Very interesting. After all the traditional concepts where and still are, that men, are in some societies, the providers and women the homemaker etc However that's not enough, as demonstrated by your mother's career path and capabilities. Women are equally capable if not more so than men. Particularly juggling motherhood and careers. I will say spacial awareness isn't a female strong point when it comes to parking a car! 😂
