I’d just love an HD remaster, upscale the pre-rendered backgrounds, redo the character models in and out of battle, also maybe redo battle graphics and add voice acting and I’d be happy.

Yes lol - ozma alone justifies a remake. Chocobo mini game is overly tedious; tighter storytelling; pacing issues; Vivis entire story arc is left unresolved; Zidane character development needs to be cleaned up - I don’t like that constantly pines over Dagger/Garnet, especially after she rejects him. No should mean no. Quina needs to be nerfed, s/he is basically god tier after you catch the frogs; Eiko and Amarant are forgettable and contribute nothing to the plot.

I agree, FF9 captured magic in a bottle. It's special and doesn't need a remake. People need to stop clamoring over remaking every game, let the Devs make something new instead. I'd rather they put that energy into FF17.

was the peak of a final fantasy for me the storybook feel ,the characters, the story,everything was amazing and I can bet everyone here loved the 'were not alone' segment love this game always will think I need to stream this myself .
